Business Challenge: As part of a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation operating across multiple industries, the client’s legal team is constantly juggling numerous projects and high volumes of work, whilst under pressure to do more with less.
Anticipating a temporary spike in demand for a specialised skill set, the Client Reporting Manager (CRM) needed a solution to help pick up and manage certain workstreams very independently and within a tight budget.
Tailored Solution & Outcome: By combining elements from our Flex6 and Calibr8 support models, NOVA8 put together an innovative and cost-efficient solution, effectively giving the CRM access to two international quality lawyers, of differing PQE levels, with the specialised skillset.

Business Challenge: A significant, strategic (global) digital transformation programme meant that the client would need support with designing improved legal processes, drafting and updating of a suite of legal templates, implementing LegalTech and project managing a number of workstreams.
Given the scale and nature of the project, it was not easy to anticipate how much (and what level of) support would be required after the initial 12 months.

Given the client’s strategy and internal budgets, the preference was to focus more on hiring full time legal and compliance support, whilst supplementing the team in the interim with flexible hourly rated support.

Simultaneously with the provision of this support, NOVA8’s Talent Acquisition team supported the client with filling multiple legal and compliance roles across Asia.
Business Challenge: The client was in the process of preparing for a new market launch in Asia and the head of legal required additional resource, at short notice, to support the project and also help support the wider legal team on a broad range of day to day matters.
Given the market and project in question, it was important that the support be particularly experienced with managing a wide range of international stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and to be able to manage them very independently in a business-friendly manner.
