Safa serves as the Chairman of NOVA8 and is an internationally profiled corporate lawyer with over 14 years of experience with leading international law firms and in-house. He founded NOVA8 with the purpose of empowering talented lawyers to achieve success on their own terms and driving rapid change in the legal services industry through focus on innovation, technology and data science. Safa’s clients include a broad range of multinational corporations, technology giants and tech unicorns.
Simon leads day-to-day operations and technology at NOVA8 and has over 14 years of international experience in business consulting, operations management and strategy development. Prior to joining NOVA8, Simon ran a boutique consulting firm serving multinational corporations, public sector clients and startups across North America. Simon graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Mathematics and subsequently gained notable experience focused on Data Science and Technology.
Ian is a corporate and commercial lawyer with a real passion for startups and tech. He has notable experience working with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from high-growth startups and FinTechs to more traditional VCs and MNCs. He is particularly experienced in equity fundraising rounds and has represented both issuers and investors across a broad range of sectors. Ian is part of the team that drives strategic internal initiatives at NOVA8.
Priyanka specialises in building and managing talent pipelines. With a passion for interacting with people from different walks of life, she supports and mentors lawyers across key stages of their careers. Priyanka has nearly a decade of experience in executive search, recruitment and operations, and has played a key role in the development of several notable competitive intelligence databases.
Jonathan leads the Talent Acquisition team at NOVA8. A lawyer by training, Jonathan has a wealth of experience matching legal and compliance professionals with private practice and in-house opportunities. He has placed numerous candidates - from a broad range of specialisms - with clients including global banks, multinational corporations, technology giants and high-growth startups.
Kylie is a specialist employment lawyer who trained with and subsequently worked at a top-tier New Zealand law firm. She has supported a broad variety of clients including global banks, multinational corporations, technology giants and high-growth startups and has also gained notable in-house experience with a focus on employment, HR and a wide range of commercial matters.
